Hello, this is Xavier. So sometime in June we went to the eye doctor for a checkup. Pretty much he told me I needed glasses. So we went to Thomas Eye Care and we were not even in there for five minutes (Mom told me) and I had picked out my glasses. On June 30, I got glasses! I did feel bad for our 6th grade small group leader because we told him bro was the one that had glasses.
Enough about glasses. So we walk 2 other dogs besides Barney. Jack & Zenie are Golden Retrievers who are not as wild as Barney.
So Shane and Joy were here at the end of May. We went to the Mercantile in Pawhuska and the food there is huge! We also played Catan & Cities and Knights of Catan.(bro won both!)
Hello! This is Xavier. Our summer has been REALLY fun! We 1) visited the Alamo and Sea World in San Antonio 2) this Wednesday we are going to Church Camp with our church, and, 3) going to the NAFWB competition in Louisville after camp. We have only done 1 of the 3,and it has been a lazy summer. I Hope your summer has been or is going to be as fun as ours!
REMEMBER THE ALAMO!!!
A few weeks ago, they did a vision screening at school and William came home with a paper saying he had failed a portion of it and we needed to follow up with an eye doctor. I couldn't believe it! They had their vision checked last year in January and didn't have any issues and he certainly hadn't been complaining of not being able to see. That weekend, we happened to run into their eye doctor (who is also the dad of a classmate) at a restaurant and kind of mentioned it to him. If I am being honest, I was hoping for him to say, "oh, those tests are often wrong--he is probably fine". Instead, he said, you should probably bring him in. So, we made an appointment and headed in last week.
As we sat in the room and they started showing him rows of letters to say, which he clearly could not see or identify, he casually mentions, "yeah, this is exactly like it is at school when I can't see the board!" Apparently, he forgot to mention that to dear ol…
